Gerovital is the main sponsor of the Romanian Olympic Team.

Bucharest, September 26th, 2011. Gerovital, the most powerful Romanian cosmetics brand, has concluded a long-term partnership with the Romanian Olympic and Sports Committee (COSR), becoming the main sponsor and supporter or the Romanian Olympic Team for the 2012 Olympic Games.
The partnership is justified by the Gerovial brand social mission of supporting Romanian values, both on a national and international level.
“The Romanian Olympic spirit can continue its tradition provided that it is helped by the economic community, a support which, history has proven it, is mutually advantageous.
In this particular case, we’ve entered a partnership that not only honours us but also oblige us to bring home as many medals as possible: Gerovital is one of the fewest Romanian brands recognized from London, New York, Tokyo or Istanbul, along with famous Romanian names who made and are making a history, such as Nadia Comăneci, Iolanda Balaș, Ivan Patzaichin, Violeta Beclea Szekely, Elisabeta Lipă, Laura Badea or Sandra Izbașa”, stated Ioan Dobrescu, Secretary General within COSR.

In 2010, on the face care products segment, Farmec was placed 1st in the top of the producers, with a quantity share market of 26.02%, followed by multinational corporations. On the value segment, Farmec is placed second, with a share market of 20.64%. Gerovital brand recorded in 2010 a share market of 16.10%, being the market leader on the face care products segment.
